Sovereign’s Double Glazed Window Range

What Types Of Windows Can You Install?

With such a wide client base, extending beyond our home in Uxbridge, such as our expert offering of double glazing in Slough, we cater to a range of styles depending on your home. From new builds protruding with a contemporary aesthetic to the more traditional style homes that have long stood the test of time, at Sovereign Windows, we offer the perfect combination of window style and material that will fit effortlessly within any home.

Styles Of Window We Install Include:

Sash Windows – Most popular in traditional homes, we can install a range of sash windows spending on the style of your home. This includes Edwardian, Georgian and Victorian, all of which deliver beautiful results and will create a real statement to any property. Not only do sash windows offer great aesthetic appeal, but they are also highly durable, energy-efficient, and can reduce noise and air pollution. If you’re unsure of the correct type of sash window that you need, just give us a call and we’d be happy to help.

Tilt & Turn Windows – With two ways to open, a tilt and turn window is certainly a versatile choice for a new window. Designed with two hinges you can tilt it open vertically to allow air to circulate, or inwards like a traditional window to allow for full ventilation. We recommend tilt and turn windows for smaller rooms like bathrooms or perhaps kitchens for those who are often cooking, to allow cool air to enter without having to fully swing open, like other windows.

Bay Windows – Adding a unique touch to your home, bay windows are often found looking out from the living room. By using clusters of three or more window units, you get a beautiful panoramic view, which is ideal for letting plenty of natural light into your living space. For those who are looking to add a unique feature to their properties with optimal energy efficiency and enhanced security with internal glazing, then our bay window range is the perfect solution.

Secondary Glazing – Usually found in listed buildings, where complete renovation of the windows is not permitted. Adding a second internal window is great for preserving the external appeal of a period home whilst adding the extra layer of insulation and security

Window Frame Materials We Use:

uPVC – Offering low maintenance with high insulation and security. uPVC windows are among the most common materials we use in our everyday installations, simply because so many modern homes use the material because of its durability, energy efficiency and effective insulation, to name a few benefits.

Timber – The ideal choice for most period properties. Preserving your homes aesthetic, our timber frame windows’ toughness allow for double or even triple glazing to be installed. When all this is considered often timber frames are the most cost-effective to live with.

Aluminium – Lasting longer than a uPVC window, aluminium frames are a good way to get extra durability without a significant extra cost. Once considered poor for heat retention, our modern aluminium windows offer added thermal breaks to match the efficiency found in most other materials.

Composite – Using both aluminium and timber, a composite frame offers the best of both worlds. Giving a longer lifespan than uPVC, along with simple maintenance, high-security composite framed windows offer the most complete window you can get, although the cost to replace can be a little higher.
